Cameras
Let us start off this review with the cameras, shall we? The rear camera module of the Note 11 Pro sees some changes in design. It is reminiscent of what we have in the Zero X series. Now, while it looks like a quad-camera setup, it is actually a triple rare camera setup. That third circle just above the flash is not an actual camera lens. the Infinix Note 11 Pro packs a combination of a 64 mega main camera, a 13 mega telescope camera capable of 30X zoom, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
There are no ultra-wide nor micro cameras here. So you don’t get ultra or macro shots. For a selfie camera, you will be getting a 16-megapixel shooter. It has a cool blue background effect on close-up subjects. With its telescope camera, you can get 30 X digital zoom which is a nice feature. This phone is capable of 2k recording which is actually not bad at all. Just not great on stabilization.
Performance and storage
In case you are wondering, Infinix Note 11 Pro comes with 8 gigs of RAM a 128 gig of internal storage. And this RAM, fun fact, actually goes up to 11 gigs by memory extension. This happens by extending RAM by three gigs, extra from its internal storage. This is so cool so but can only be achieved when you have a sizeable amount of internal storage to spare. Infinix Note 11 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Helio G96 (12 nm) processor which should be an upgrade to the G95.
Fresh design
The rear camera module of Infinix Note 11 Pro sees some changes in design. It is reminiscent of what we have in the Zero X series. That third circle just above the flash is an attempt one would say to stylishly fill up that would have otherwise looked like a blank space. The phone itself comes in three colors namely Mithril Grey, Haze Green, and Mist Blue. Moving on with design there is nothing at the top frame. All its ports are on the bottom frame. That is its USB-C charging port headphone jack, and one of the stereo speakers. Yes! Stereo speakers!
The second stereo speaker is just above the display, but most of the sound comes from the bottom one. The sounds great. Now, one more thing you’ll find just above the display is a front-facing flash which is really bright and can help with those selfies. Infinix Note 11 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is a really responsive and fast one. It actually unlocks the device instantly with no delay. You also have the option of face unlock in case you are into that sort of thing.
120Hz Display
Now the display is FHD with a resolution of 1080 x 2460p and it supports up to 120 Hz has a refresh rate, which should make for noticeably smoother animations. By default, the refresher rate is set automatically to switch as needed. But you can select one 120 Hertz at the expense of some battery life. With 60 Herz, you will get more battery life. They display a good-looking one with decent brightness. You can view media content here, just find those stereo speakers to compliment.
Fresh & Clean UI
Infinix Note 11 Pro has seen a change in the user interface. Thanks to the new version of XOS which brings most of the UI changes as well as some neat and new tricks. To mention, now you have options for home screen settings, you have the classic old-style or the large folder style. You also have a new quick panel, swipe down from the left to get your notifications. And you swipe down from the right to get your quick settings menu. We also see that voice assistant which we first saw on the Infinix Zero X.
This phone runs on Android 11 and it remains to be seen if we’re actually going to get an Android 12 update. Not is guaranteed, fingers crossed. As mentioned earlier that Mediatek Helio G96 (12 nm)is actually an upgrade to the G95 in the sense that it now supports one 120 Hz display.
Battery
For the battery, Infinix Note 11 Pro boasts its Li-Po 5000 mAh high capacity. It should be able to get you a full day of use even on one 120 Hz. You should also be able to power the battery with less than 90 minutes of charging. You may also want to check out Infinix Note 10 Pro.
Unboxing
Now here’s what you get in the box of the XOS 8. We have a box different from the previous in Infinix devices but the unboxing experience is mostly the same. The device aside, you get the X cards. One thing you notice in the box is two screen protectors, a film screen protector and a glass one. That’s very thoughtful of in the company I bet customers will be really excited about this. We get regular accessories which include the transparent case, a pair of wired earphones, USB-C cable, and a 33w fast charger.
In a wrap, the Note 11 Pro brings some incremental upgrades in a 120Hz display, a telescope zoom lens capable of 30X digital zoom, the new Mediatek Helio G96 (12 nm) processor, and the new XOS 8.
